The Forest is a refuge. In its realm of green half light one cannot define distance, only honor what is near at hand. To exist here, one must embrace mystery, honing ones senses to what is close but hidden. In all mythologies the forest is a place of unknown dangers or initiations. A safe and beautiful province for those fearless few at ease with solitude and quiet, the hermit, the innocent outlaw, wandering princes or lost maiden, friends of creatures great and small.
